Ensemble Erik Bursts onto the Scene with Glass-Focused Debut

A new star is rising in the classical world: Ensemble Erik, a powerhouse collective of UK instrumentalists, is set to make a memorable debut this September. Inspired by the legendary French innovator Erik Satie, this fresh ensemble is on a mission to shake up the concert experience—and they’re hitting the ground running.

Led by seasoned conductor John Beswick, Ensemble Erik fuses technical brilliance with a bold, creative edge. Their opening acts? Twin concerts in London and Manchester featuring two rarely heard Philip Glass gems: the mesmerizing The Windcatcher for six saxophones and the kaleidoscopic classic Glassworks, performed in all their original sonic glory.
