Sampling hip-hop super-group Naughty By Nature’s 1999 hit Holiday, the elusive Friend Within once again showcases his innate ability to create instant, bass-heavy floor-fillers, replete with infectious vocal hooks and sleek chord progressions.

Picking up early nods from Annie Mac, DJ Target and Danny Howard, The Holiday hints to a more instantaneous side of Friend Within’s production, further highlighting his inimitable ability to side step any on-coming pigeonholes and cementing Friend Within as one of the UK’s finest House music producers.

Not content with simply breaking through the ranks of the upcoming UK house producers, Friend Within has created a home for his ever-flowing creativity via his new label, He Loves You. The culmination of a varied back catalogue, this has seen the heavily supported DJ and producer release on everyone from Dirtybird to Hypercolour, right through to Method Records.
