Adam Lanceley Defies Doctors Expectations with Seventh Album!
At the age of only ten, Adam Lanceley was a victim in a traumatic car accident which tragically left him seriously injured. This distressing event left young Adam battling for his life with severe brain damage, a crushed pelvis and shattered legs. He was told by the doctors that he would never be able to walk or talk again. Adam was determined to prove them wrong and fulfil his dreams.
Adam fortunately, not only successfully managed to make a remarkable recovery, but he also fought to achieve the extreme. He ran marathons and is now carving out a career as a singer-songwriter. He is currently preparing the release of his seventh album, ‘Epitaph To Innocence’!
This album is heavily influenced by the 1960’s Californian sound with Beach Boys-esque melodies. His opening track for his new album, ‘In The Sun Far Away’, has a bold upbeat vibe, like his previous tracks. It shows his attitude to music and how his songs are a device to spread contagious joy. His guitar riffs bring the songs more liveliness and some of his lyrics, “my mind drifting where I’d rather be instead”, conveys ideas of thinking about the positive and keeping good mind state. He also sings: “I won’t be waiting for you to approve”, which reflects on the idea of living in the moment and not wasting time but doing what makes you happy and that is precisely what Adam did.
Adam’s latest success story is his new album. He is very secretive about the narrative and meaning of his lyrics. However, he writes them with the sole purpose of inspiring other people who are struggling through situations of any sort with the guidance of his optimistic lyrics.
Physically, Adam has conquered various consequences of his misfortune, but he is scarred emotionally. He still battles with mental issues such as very low confidence and depression and he says that this makes him feel like a little boy again. He discovered that music gave him an outlet to express himself and allows him to confound expectations while pushing himself for new heights of creativity.
