Up-and-Coming Jethro 'Alonestar' Sheeran To Release New Single

Alonestar has been on music scene for a while, it seems, often biding his time for when to release his music. He’s collaborated with cousin Ed Sheeran on a few occasions – most recently on the Billboard number one hit, Tropical House – Cruise to Jamaica. Alongside tracks from Ed and Jamaican artists such as Sean Paul, Stephen and Damian Marley, Alonestar released three of his own tracks on the album.

Alonestar, native of Bristol, has a tougher sound than that of his cousin – he’s a rapper with hard beats who’s not afraid to speak his mind. The two collaborated earlier this year on the single, Raise Em Up, which can be heard here – and they work well together:

In line with today’s fashion Alonestar has collaborated with a number of other big names, producing hits not only with his cousin but, more recently, teaming up Massive Attack guitarist, Angelo Bruschini – with whom he recorded his last single, Phobia, which is yet to be released.
