Clíodhna Ní Aodáin’s “Full Circle – Cellos for Trees”

Celebrate Earth Day with Clíodhna Ní Aodáin’s “Full Circle – Cellos for Trees” This Earth Day, celebrate with award-winning Irish cellist Clíodhna Ní Aodáin’s “Full Circle – Cellos for Trees”. 

Clíodhna has composed a multi-track cello piece to invite cellists from around the world to participate in creating a beautiful music video project. This is your chance to join the movement and show off your cello skills! Each cellist is asked to choose a part to play and then make a video of themselves playing under their favourite tree. 

The cellists’ videos will then be combined to create a virtual forest of cellos and trees. With her music, Clíodhna invites her listeners to renew their appreciation of our precious earth. Her compositions meld finish the task of planting 10,000 trees. 

Her background in classical and improvised music opens an acoustic portal to another realm. As a solo artist she melds contemporary and traditional styles to create a new genre that evokes the atmosphere of the Otherworld.
