Music industry collective UBU has released a heartfelt tribute album in honor of their influential co-founder, Marco Trinchillo. The self-titled album features 11 unique tracks, showcasing the diverse talent within the UBU community and the impact of Trinchillo’s creative vision.

UBU began as a passion project for Trinchillo and his friend Mattia Mercuriali, who also found success as members of the band Amycanbe. However, the duo soon realized the potential of UBU and decided to create an album. Working with producer Franco Naddei at ‘L’Amor Mio Non Muore’ studio in Forli, Italy, UBU poured their hearts into the music over the course of two years.

Sadly, tragedy struck when Trinchillo passed away suddenly from cardiac arrest, just as the album was nearing completion. In his memory, UBU made the decision to release the record as a tribute to their beloved co-founder and friend. The album serves as a celebration of Trinchillo’s life and his immense impact on the artistic community. His talents as a self-taught drummer and renowned photographer are evident throughout the album, showcasing his diverse range of creative abilities. Trinchillo’s photography has been featured in prestigious publications like The Guardian, Vogue, and Dazed, while his contributions to the music industry inspired countless artists. UBU’s tribute album is a poignant reminder of the lasting legacy of Trinchillo, a true creative force who left an indelible mark on the world.
