‘I Belong In Hell’- Jodie H. Dunn
Having begun her love for music whilst singing in the garden and in the playground as a child, the talented young singer-songwriter, Jodie H. Dunn, has transformed her emotional ballad ‘I Belong In Hell’ into a pop anthem with the help of Andy Whitmore at Greystoke studios, who has worked with the likes of Elton John, Peter Andre and Danni Minogue.
Having gone through bad experiences in the music industry in the past, it is an uplifting and well-deserved boost for Jodie to have her first professionally produced track.
Unfortunately, Jodie was subject to a lot of bullying during her school years which then escalated on to social media as well. Despite this, Jodie’s talents gave her the tools to find release through her songwriting and fight back inadvertently to those who bullied her.
The song is based on the idea of someone controlling you at your lowest point and this is conveyed perfectly through Jodie’s powerful, yet beautiful vocals that belie her years.
There is no doubt that if Jodie can keep coming up with songs as strong as ‘I Belong In Hell’, she’ll be hitting pop music circles in no time at all.
