My Name is Freedom, Star and Estelle California

French multi-instrumentalist and singer Estelle California wasn’t always known as such; Having changed her name, inspired by her new surroundings, after moving to the USA. Suffering physical and mental abuse in her home nation of France, and tired of the inherently racist mentality she saw around her, she upped and left for a better life abroad, one that would leave her to find ‘her true home’.
