Coming this Friday (14th August), rising R&B star Vicky T is set to release her first ever single and it’s more than worth the wait.
At just seventeen years old Vicky possesses immense musical talent beyond her years. Born and raised in London Vicky credits the big smoke for enriching her artistry with a wealth of different cultures and experiences that make her who she is today.
On the surface Vicky is a Pop/R&B artist, but you’ll soon discover her music is infused with a truly authentic sense of soul, emotion and power. Vicky’s unique voice had her instagram covers making waves, commanding huge attention and soon discovered by industry professionals.
Since then she has been music’s best kept secret, slowly honing her craft, writing music and perfecting her tracks.
Hard work and graft pays off, as Vicky is now prepared to release her first ever single Lie this Friday. A track she wrote at the tender age of 16 Vicky T explains the meaning behind the track-
‘I wrote ‘Lie’ at the age of 16, it was actually one of the first songs I wrote… Life inspired me to write this song, as some days we just want things to go a bit different and just take a break. This is a song that I feel every single person could relate to because although we’re all different and feel things differently we can all definitely say we’ve felt the vibe of this song many many times.’
