Neethusha – “Why Did I Lose You?”
Neethusha’s Indian heritage nearly stood in her way. The pressures from society could have hindered her journey, however her determination and passion wasn’t going to let her opportunity slip by. Now she is a versatile singer/songwriter with a whole music career ahead of her.
Her new track, the hauntingly beautiful and sad ‘Why Did I Lose You’, demonstrates her impressive singing voice, with influences from artists such as Celine Dion and Shania Twain. And, although the song itself may be beautiful, the message behind it is even more heartbreaking. The song is about losing someone, about the pain of having that fairy tale love and then having life rip them away from you.
“Time and tide waits for no one. You got to do what you got to do” and that is exactly what she did, she has taken her opportunity and given us this stunning track as a result.
