Releasing Their New Album, Folk Rock Band Doolin’ Drop ‘Circus Boy’

After touring and playing live for three years, Folk band Doolin’ has finally got themselves back in the studio to write their new album which is full of a collection of all original music. When creating the album. The band recorded part of it in the US in the cities of Chicago, Kansas City and Pittsburgh while they were touring in 2019. When it came to finishing the album, the work was completed at the legendary Studio Ferber in Paris, France.
With involvement from two legendary producers, Olivier Lude and Patrice Renson, the album was a collaboration of some of the biggest names in French music. The quality of the musicianship and production can be heard throughout the album, with not one song lacking in character.
This new release follows their 2016 album which drew its inspiration from the fusion of traditional Irish music, French chanson, and American roots music. Delving into a more adventurous and experimental sound, the new album entitled ‘Circus Boy’ combines punchy songwriting and heavier production elements which develop this piece of work from their last.
