Devan Begins A Personal New Chapter With “Wyatt Earp”
For Devan, “Wyatt Earp” is not simply a debut single; it is the start of a new chapter. Released on April 3rd, 2026, the track marks his first step into songwriting and recording, introducing audiences to a new UK country and Americana artist with a story rooted in real life.
The Cambridgeshire musician has never previously written or recorded music, making this release a particularly bold moment. His journey into music has been driven by a lifelong love of singing and a desire to finally make something of his own. “It’s a new chapter, and I’m excited for everything that’s ahead,” he says.
Devan’s life beyond music adds to the authenticity of his artistry. He balances his creative ambitions with work as a carpenter and remains closely connected to country life through Sovereign Quarter Horses. He is also a rugby player for March Bears RUFC, a cold water swimmer, and someone drawn to adventure and challenge.
Future material is expected to explore deeply personal themes, including the loss of his grandfather, whom Devan describes as his best friend. An upcoming track, “Better Man,” is inspired by that relationship, pointing toward an EP that will continue to focus on family, identity, resilience, and respect.
